Presidents' MassTransfer Agreement

Springfield Technical Community College in partnership with Worcester State University has created the Presidents' MassTransfer Agreement. The agreement ensures a cost-effective degree-completion pathway designed to facilitate and increase degree completion at both the associate's and bachelor's levels.

Objectives of the Presidents' MassTransfer agreement include:

  • Strengthening the academic partnerships that exist between STCC and Worcester State University; and,
  • Providing STCC students enrolled in selected associate's degree programs greater access to baccalaureate-level education; and,
  •  Streamlining the transition from completion of selected STCC associate's degree programs to enrollment and subsequent graduation in corresponding bachelor's degree programs at Worcester State University: and,
  • Providing an opportunity for commuting students and their parents to plan their educational budgets in advance for a total cost (in-state tuition & mandatory fees) not to exceed $30,000 for an associate's and bachelor's degree
