Parking and Transportation

IMPORTANT!!

Students may apply online for a Fall 2013 Parking Decal or Bus Pass beginning the first week of August 2013 via this website. Please check this website at that time.

Students will not be able to apply for a parking decal or bus pass until such time as the student's financial account is paid in full or the student has made financial arrangements with STCC Student Accounts office.

If you are unable to access the online application form using your student ID number, please check with Student Accounts to make sure your account is paid up BEFORE YOU CHECK WITH THE PARKING OFFICE.

Students may apply for EITHER a Bus Pass OR a Parking Decal. Students may NOT have both!!!

Any vehicle that receives 3 parking tickets is subject to being towed.

OPTION 1 - FREE PVTA BUS PASS

  • PVTA bus passes are effective from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Students must apply for a new bus pass at the start of every semester.
  • Students receive their first bus pass FREE. If it is lost or stolen there is a $45 replacement cost.

Spring 2013

To get a CURRENT (Spring 2013) bus pass go to Building 12, Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Summer 2013

In order to obtain a SUMMER bus pass, students need to provide a hard copy of his or her summer class schedule and their STUDENT ID. These should be brought to the Parking Office in Building 12 no earlier than the first day of summer classes (June 3rd, 2013).

SUMMER bus passes will be available beginning June 3rd, 2013  the first day of the Summer Session. They will NOT be available before that day. These may be picked up in Building 12 at that time (Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.).

Fall 2013

Students may apply online for a Fall 2013 Parking Decal beginning the first week of August 2013 via this website. Please check this website at that time.

OPTION 2 - Parking Decal

  • Parking decals that are obtained in the fall semester are valid through May of the Spring semester.
  • Students who have decals issued in the Fall are NOT eligible for new parking decals in the Spring semester.

Spring 2013

To apply for a CURRENT (Spring 2013) parking decal, go to Building 12, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 - 1:00, and bring your student ID. This applies only to students who do NOT already have a decal.

Summer 2013

Summer session 1: Students should park in Lots 1 and 2 without a decal. Limited shuttle service will be provided. Students may NOT park on campus.

Summer session 2: Students may park on campus.

Fall 2013

Students may apply online for a Fall 2013 Parking Decal beginning the first week of August 2013 via this website. Please check this website at that time.

STCC Parking Lots

Carpooling Incentive Option

STCC urges everyone to consider carpooling to and from STCC. Not only will this have a positive impact on the environment, it will also assist us with STCC's parking demands. All students who participate will receive a cash incentive, a Lot 1 parking decal, and a free PVTA bus pass. Traveling with two or more passengers qualifies students for carpooling. NO LESS than 2 students may carpool.

Apply by e-mail to carpool@stcc.edu. Provide your name, your full mailing address, and your Student ID#. The same information must be submitted for all passengers in your carpool. All decals are sent through the mail. Any questions regarding carpooling please call 755-4238.

STCC is working with MassRIDES to establish a database for matching students. You may contact MassRIDES at www.commute.com .

Shuttle Schedules and Routes

  • Free STCC shuttles are provided non-stop from all exterior student parking lots to campus from 7:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • The PVTA shuttle runs to and from the PVTA station (Peter Pan Bus Station) from 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • PLEASE NOTE: All students using STCC shuttle services must have a student ID at all times.
  • There are NO shuttle services on Saturday mornings. Students must provide their own transportation.
