CHIN-225 - ELEMENTARY CHINESE 2  3 credits
This course is a continuation of Elementary Chinese 1. Pronunciation, tones, reading and grammar will be stressed along with continued development of basic oral and written communication in Mandarin. Chinese history and culture are further explored. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of CHIN-125 with a grade C or higher, its equivalent at another college/university, one year of high school Chinese and/or or permission of the instructor.
