LEOT-185 - AUTOCAD FOR ELECTRONICS  3 credits
AutoCAD for Electronics is an introductory level course that provides students with the basic principles of mechanical and electrical drafting for electronics applications. Topics will include geometric creation, editing geometry, drawing formats utilizing paper space and model space, and the requirements for creating orthographic views for item description. Emphasis will be placed on using AutoCAD to design printed circuit boards, layout schematic diagrams, and produce assembly drawings. Students will develop a series of drawings that can be used in their portfolios to demonstrate to prospective employers their technical skills and quality of workmanship.
