Springfield Technical Community College is pleased to announce that
it has launched a pilot program that will award up to nine college credits
to individuals who have successfully completed Information Technology
(IT) certification exams as outlined below.
In order to qualify for this program, you must apply and be accepted
into a degree or certificate program in either Computer Information
Technologies (CIT) or Office Information Technologies (OIT) within the
College's School of Business and Information Technologies (SBIT). You
may be particularly interested in the new Computer
Security associate degree program -- the first program of its kind

Accepted students will be responsible for providing documentation
of IT certifications that is acceptable to STCC's Admissions Office.

NOTE: The Candidates may first want to publish their current certifications
to themselves, to see firsthand the information that is being published
to, and viewed by, the third party.
Students wishing to be granted college credit for Microsoft Certifications
(MCP, MCSA, or MCSE) must produce 2 forms of documentation.

Students will need to access their CertiPort accounts and publish
their transcripts to STCC's admission office.
