Cisco Certification for IT Credit Validating Information
After fulfilling all the certification requirements, in 1-3 weeks time, a card and a certificate (US Letter size) will be sent to him/her. The card and certificate will state that he/she had obtained his CCNA or CCNP, etc. and the exact expire date of his certifications. The certificate has a verification ID. A potential employee can type in the verification ID onto the website: Cisco Verify Certificate to verify the authenticity of the certificate.
  1. Get the date the exam was passed by reviewing the CCNA certificate or other documentation from Cisco stating when the exam was taken. If the exam was passed more that 3 years ago, the certificate is no longer valid. If it was passed less that 3 years ago, continue to step 2.
  2. Obtain the CCNA validation number. This will be listed on the certificate obtained after passing the exam. A replacement certificate may be ordered by obtaining Cisco.
  3. Go to the Cisco Verification site and enter the 16 digit validation number listed on the CCNA certificate. If the number cannot be verified, proceed to step 4.
  4. Contact Cisco Certification Customer Support at (800) 553-6387 and request verification of the validation number. This helps ensure the verification page did not reject a valid validation number.
The Candidate will need their Cisco exam score report to log on and create their login information.
  • Go to the Cisco site and follow the instructions to Create Password.
  • Once you have created an Account please sign-in with your Cisco ID and password.
