Teleproduction and Multimedia TechnologyThis degree program prepares students for careers in the television, film and Media industry.  Through lecture and lab students develop skills in the three production phases: pre-, production, and post-.  Courses will cover areas such as broadcast writing; studio production; field production; on-air presentation; interviewing; and digital editing.  The emphasis is on exposing students to the wide variety of skills needed to succeed in the broadcast industry, as well as demonstrating the array of possibilities for careers in the ever changing Digital Media field.

Television Production Program Goals

  1. Have a fundamental understanding of the broadcast and film industry
  2. Have mastered the techniques necessary to complete pre-production work
  3. Have mastered the skills to participate in a television production
  4. Have developed the ability to complete post-production work
  5. Have the ability to work effectively in a group setting
