PHILOSOPHY
OF ACADEMIC ADVISING
Academic Advising procedures are designed to serve as informational and directional aids to faculty and professional staff members responsible for academic advising. The basic relationship in the Academic Advising program is one of mutual respect and confidence between the advisor and the advisee. Utilization of this approach conveys a continuing interest in the advisee and his or her educational endeavors by the advisor.
