Report A Crime

The STCC Police dispatch center is staffed 24 hours a day and is located in Quarters 9. Crimes can be reported in person or by calling extension 4220 (755-4220.) All emergencies should be reported by dialing 911.

The main police office is located in Quarters 9. All routine and non-emergency services may be obtained by calling 413-755-4220.

Every incident is investigated by the STCC Police Department, some cases we will use the Springfield Police Department or the State Police. All follow-up activities strive to identify and prosecute criminals, recover stolen property, and to recover restitution when possible.

What to Report

Suspicious persons, vehicles, or events

If you observe or hear something suspicious, call the Campus Police immediately. Obtain the best description you can of the person(s) or vehicle(s) involved.

Vandalism

If you observe malicious activity which could result in damage to college property, call the STCC Police Department immediately.

Criminal Activity

If you are a victim of a crime, or witness a crime, report it immediately to the police (911). Information received will be kept confidential.

Weapon Possession

The unapproved possession, use, or sale of firearms, ammunition, fireworks, explosives of any nature, or any lethal or chemical weapons on one's person or in a vehicle is forbidden and subject to college discipline and possible criminal sanctions.
