  • PIONEER VALLEY FREE HEALTH SERVICES, INC. – located in East Longmeadow, PVFHS provides health care to people of all ages who have no health insurance or who are underinsured.   Hours of operation are Wednesday Evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.  No appointments are necessary except for psychiatry and women’s health.   For more information tel:  413-525-3866 – calls are returned on Wednesday evenings.
  • PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS - The programs listed are run by pharmaceutical companies, governmental agencies, or non-profit groups and primarily provide assistance to select income levels such as the uninsured, low income or seniors now participating Medicare Part D who have reached their coverage gap.
    • Prescription Advantage – administered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs.  Available to MA residents age 65 and older, as well as younger individuals with disabilities who meet income and employment guidelines.

    • Together RX  - administered by a group of some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies to eligible residents of the U.S. and Puerto Rico who have no prescription drug coverage and are not eligible for Medicare.

    • Rx Outreach – Express Scripts Specialty Distribution Services, Inc. (ESSDS), a fully licensed mail order pharmacy manages more than 55 patient assistance programs on behalf of major pharmaceutical companies.  Offers prescription medicines to uninsured individuals and families, as well as those who have limited prescription drug coverage.
