The President's Fund For Excellence Campaign
Operating a state-of-the-art technical college in an urban neighborhood presents challenges that require innovative responses by STCC's President,
staff and faculty. A diverse student body including single parents, low income students, and the academically challenged, as well as gifted students,
requires new methods for increasing revenue to provide College services.The President's Fund provides the dollars necessary to build a margin of excellence
for meeting unique campus challenges.

The STCC Foundation plays a critical role in economic development efforts by developing funding for STCC educational programs. Graduates of STCC's career programs, the widest selection in New England, are sought-after by employers to staff the region's industry - from healthcare to telecommunications, computer security to semiconductor manufacturing. Our graduates keep Western Mass. working.
Incentive Grants and Professional Development
The STCC Foundation plays a critical role in helping the College maintain academic integrity in health, business and engineering programs in a rapidly changing technological world. For many years, the Foundation has assisted the College in paying for faculty workshops that sharpen the cutting edge of specific disciplines. Through incentive grants for faculty development and laboratory upgrading, and through its equipment donation program, the Foundation works with local businesses to support the academic excellence that makes STCC a unique community asset.
Enriching the lives of young people
The STCC Foundation is a significant source of scholarship aid to students. In addition, the Foundation sponsors programs for limited-English-speaking students and is routinely awarded grants that fund enrichment programs for disadvantaged high school students.
