ESL
tutoring for grammar, reading, writing, conversation and pronunciation
is available on the third floor of Building 13 in Room 326. Weekly schedules
are posted on the bulletin board to the left of this room every Wednesday,
beginning the second week of classes. Students can make appointments
in advance by signing up for time in the spaces provided on the tutors'
schedules.
Students who need a tutor's help but do not have an appointment are also welcome to stop into Room 326. Often a tutor will be available to help students on a "walk in" basis. Also, if a student has a need for tutoring outside of the scheduled hours, it can often be arranged.
We also have a dedicated group of volunteers who are willing to give their time to ESL students. Contact Professor Jill Mendez or Professor Elizabeth Carras for details.
