Springfield Technical Community College will offer a winter session of four-week online classes. Winter session is the perfect opportunity for area college students to earn college credit during the traditional winter break period. Our winter classes are taught by faculty who are experts in their fields, and who have years of experience in delivering online instruction.
Please be aware that the short duration of these classes will result in an intensive, fast-paced learning experience. Motivation, steady participation, and persistence will be key to students' success in these classes! To help ensure the success of students in the Winter session, the College allows students to register for no more than 9 credits in Winter.

Please note for financial aid, federal regulations prohibit any students beginning in the Spring semester from using financial aid to cover a winter course.
Online Education Orientation Sessions
Blackboard orientation sessions to prepare students for online classes will be offered prior to the start of the winter semester. Orientation information can be located at Online Learning Orientation Information. Attending only one session is necessary. The Blackboard orientation is not a requirement but is highly recommended.
Students with Disabilities
Any student with a documented disability is eligible to register with the Office of Disability Services. Please see our documentation guidelines and verification forms. During this time, documentation is best submitted via email to disability_services@stcc.edu. Students are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with the ODS staff to review submitted documentation and determine accommodation needs as soon as they register for the winter session.
