The NSF Project on Universal Design

In 1999, STCC received a three year grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to research, implement and disseminate information about effective instructional practices and course materials using the principles of Universal Design for Learning with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math faculty.

Springfield Technical Community College believes that the principles of Universal Design for Learning hold significant promise for improved learning by all students, including students with disabilities.
