Where do students park at STCC?

Generally, students MAY NOT park on campus before 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

From 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, students must park in AN ASSIGNED STUDENT PARKING LOT and must have the proper decal.

After 3:30 p.m . Monday through Friday, students MAY park on campus without a decal.

Students may park on campus on Saturdays and Sundays without a decal.

There are limited parking spaces with parking meters available to students at the front of campus. Students MUST put money in these meters and may not abuse the hour limit. Meters are strictly enforced by STCC Police.

Shall I drive to STCC or ride the PVTA Bus? Which may I do?

Students may apply for EITHER a PVTA Bus Pass OR a Parking Decal for a student parking lot. Students may NOT have both!!! There is NO COST for a Parking Decal or for the FIRST PVTA Fast Break Smart Card.

How and when do I apply for a Parking Decal or Bus Pass?

Students apply online for a Fall 2016 Parking Decal or PVTA Fast Break Smart Card, beginning July 15, 2016, by clicking here.

Please use a computer or laptop when applying. Some Smart phones, tablets and other devices may not work with this website.

Oops! I was unable to apply for a parking decal or bus pass online! The online system told me to check with Student Accounts! What happened?

Students will not be able to apply for a parking decal or PVTA Fast Break Card until the student's financial account is paid in full or the student has made financial arrangements with STCC Student Accounts office.

If you are unable to access the online application form using your FULL student ID number, please check with Student Accounts to make sure your account is paid up BEFORE YOU CHECK WITH THE PARKING OFFICE.

Are there any parking rules and regulations?

Yes. Read the above rules about days and times. Also, when students ARE allowed to park on campus, they must park in actual parking spaces unless directed otherwise by the STCC Police or Parking staff.

Are the rules enforced?

Yes. The STCC Police Department strictly enforces all parking regulations. They issue parking tickets for violations and tow cars at the owner s expense.

When can STCC tow my vehicle?

Vehicles that have been issued at least 3 tickets in 1 semester may be towed at the student's expense even if the tickets have been paid.

Any vehicles obstructing building access or otherwise parked in a way that creates a hazard may be towed.

Any vehicles in violation of certain motor vehicle laws under Chapter 90 of the Massachusetts General Laws may be towed.

Any vehicles parked illegally in a regulated handicapped space may be towed.
