Emergency Notification System

In case of emergency, Springfield Technical Community College sends emergency alerts to anyone with a College-provided e-mail account. In addition, STCC has a system (STCC-Alert Emergency Notification System) to rapidly communicate with students, faculty, and staff by sending a voice message and/or instant text message to home and cell telephones. While the system is active and ready for use, it is only as good as the contact information it contains. (See College Web-Page to sign-up)

Campus Police Department

In the interest of campus safety and security, Springfield Technical Community College Police will notify the college community of all crimes considered to pose a threat to its members that are perpetrated on the campus and reported to Campus Police and/or local police agencies.

Notices given over the campus electronic mail system, by Campus Police Officers in public areas, distributed to offices.
