Hector Toledo of Hampden Bank Appointed to Board of Trustees of STCC
Hector
F. Toledo, vice president and director of sales at Hampden Bank, has been
appointed by Governor Patrick to the Board of Trustees at Springfield Technical
Community College. He will serve a five-year term on the board.
Toledo is a 1991 STCC graduate in business; his wife also graduated from STCC, in radiology. He said, “Our lives revolve around Springfield, and the education piece is particularly near and dear to me. This college plays a key role in the success of Springfield. We have a lot of hope for the city.”
Toledo went on to attend Westfield State College, and has pursued a successful career in banking. He is a member of the board of the WestMass Area Development Corporation, the North End Housing Initiative, the YMCA, and Hispanic Resources Inc. He is a member of the institutional review board of Baystate Health, a committee member at the Pioneer Valley United Way and the Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School, and is a past president of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center.
