The faculty support is tremendous and even our President, Dr. John Cook, holds open office hours so students can drop in with feedback and receive his support and guidance.

“STCC is full of so many opportunities for personal and academic growth. You will find yourself and your career path. I came to STCC to focus on my education but I found so much more when I became involved in the campus community through student government. I realized how much I like to help people and be of service to others. The faculty support is tremendous and even our President, Dr. John Cook, holds open office hours so students can drop in with feedback and receive his support and guidance. The Honor’s Program at STCC has also given me tremendous opportunities. I’ve had the opportunity to present at the Northeast Regional Honors Conference in Pittsburgh on my research topic “Bridging the Divide on Transgenderism.” After graduating from STCC I will be attending Simmons College to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree focusing on Biochemistry and Public Health and then I plan to attend medical school. STCC truly transforms lives.” Kristiana Tadeo

“Kristiana is everything an institution desires in a student.  Beyond being strong academically, she possesses a true intellectual curiosity; she is amazed by all facets of our world. Kristiana has focused her studies on biology, the study of life, but she does not let it end there.  Her love of life makes her a humanitarian and this is the drive that makes her an involved citizen of both STCC and the local community." Richard Greco, Professor, Biological Sciences
