Next Steps After Admission

After admission to the College, you will receive a packet in the mail from Admissions which outlines the steps you will need to take to complete the enrollment process.  These steps may include the following:

For Students who are new to College:
  1. Submit any documents to Admissions that might be missing (these will be indicated in your Admissions packet)
  2. Complete the Financial Aid Application process (if you want or need financial assistance to pay for College)
  3. Submit your completed Health Forms to Health Services (you will receive Health Forms with your Admissions packet)
  4. Attend a New Student Orientation Session (these informational sessions are designed to provide you with a solid understanding of what to expect as you enter College. You are encouraged to bring family members or friends with you to Orientation. You will be given an Orientation session date in your Admissions packet)
  5. Choose a registration date (you will do this at your Orientation session)
  6. Prepare for Placement Assessments (at Orientation, you will learn more about the placement assessment process)
  7. Attend your registration appointment, when you will take the placement assessments, meet with an academic advisor to review your results, get answers to any questions you may have about STCC or your academic program, and create your class schedule.
For Students who have previously attended College:
  1. Submit any documents to Admissions that might be missing (these will be indicated in your Admissions packet).
  2. Complete the Financial Aid Application process (if you want or need financial assistance to pay for College)
