In memoriam: STCC alumnus and former trustee Jeffrey E. Poindexter

Temperature controlled lockers help STCC tackle food insecurity

Springfield Technical Community College has made access to food and groceries easier for students who can pick up goods in temperature-controlled lockers on campus. The college’s Center for Access Services, which provides a broad range of support including food, has used a grant to install 16 insulated lockers.

STCC Dental Assistant grads honored at pinning ceremony

Future dental assistants celebrated their academic accomplishments and looked to their future at a pinning ceremony at Springfield Technical Community College on Jan. 22. Ten graduates of the Dental Assistant certificate program at STCC participated in the ceremony which honors their entry into the profession.

STCC announces fall 2023 dean’s list

Springfield Technical Community College celebrates the accomplishment of the 784 students who were named to the fall 2023 dean’s list. The dean’s list is published each semester to recognize excellence in academic performance. To be considered, degree-seeking students must earn 12 or more college level credits in the current semester, or a total of 12 or more combined college-level credits earned during the fall and spring semesters, and achieve a 3.3 or above grade point average.
