MAT - 127 - Calculus for Bus, Life & Social Sciences I

Introduction to calculus with applications to business, life, and social sciences. Functions and graphs, limits, the derivative, techniques of differentiation, curve sketching, maximum/minimum problems, exponential and logarithmic functions, and exponential growth and decay.

Prerequisite(s)

MAT-064, MAT-093 or MAT-097 (C- or better) or placement at college-level on math placement test.
