The STCC Adult Education Center is a centralized walk-in information, support and referral center for use by STCC students/staff and members of the community who would like to obtain a General Educational Development (GED) diploma, upgrade their basic skills, or further their education.

The Center is open 8:00am until 4:00pm Monday through Friday, September through May, and Monday through Thursday in June, July and August. When the College is in session, the Center offers use of 10 computer stations, study areas, and a conference room. The Adult Education Center provides:

• Services for returning adult STCC students
• The Adult Basic Education Program
• The Transitions to College Program
• On-line financial aid assistance
• Web Advisor
• Specialized software for computer- based instruction
• Career exploration
• Testing and assessment
• MCAS Remediation
