We know that paying for college can be a big factor in continuing your education. We have many options that can help make attending STCC more affordable. If you currently have a hold on your account regarding a balance, reach out to Student Financial Services to discuss your options.

  1. Apply for financial aid
    1. By completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), we can determine if you’re eligible for federal or state grants and/or loans. This is the most important piece to assisting you with your finances. We have a team on hand to help you file a FAFSA if you need assistance. Schedule a meeting with us, bring your documents to our office, and we can help you take your first huge step in paying for college!
  2. Research local and national scholarships
    1. STCC has a scholarship foundation built to support our students during their time here at STCC. If you are not eligible for financial aid or it won’t cover the full cost of your STCC education. We encourage you to apply for a scholarship through the foundation. There are varying application deadlines throughout the year, so keep checking back for more information.
    2. There are several national scholarship sites specifically for college students. They are designed to make applying for scholarships easy where you can narrow down your eligibility requirements and apply for all those you are eligible for at the same time. Here are a few options:
      1. Fastweb National Scholarship Directory
      2. CollegeBoard Scholarship Search
  3. Payment Plan
    1. Did you know that you don’t have to pay all at once? We have convenient payment plan options for you that spread your payments out over the course of the semester. Click on “Payment Plan” above to learn more about your options.

STCC has a variety of resources aimed at helping our students stay on track. We know that obstacles and challenges can affect your educational journey so let us help you stay on track! Use our Student Support Quick Links or see below!
