STCC With It
New grads share what STCC means to them.
Due to an uptick in COVID-19 cases, the City of Springfield has issued a Mask Advisory and STCC requests that all unvaccinated individuals and those with an accommodation remain masked during the ceremony.
Caps and Gowns
Caps and gowns will be available to be picked up from the Office of Student Activities in the Ira H. Rubenzahl Student Learning Commons (B19)/Room 126 at the following days and times:

The College has engaged the services of a professional photographer to take pictures of each graduate as s/he receives the diploma. Proofs of the pictures will be mailed to you several weeks after Commencement and you are under no obligation to purchase photos. Please note that because we have a professional photographer, no one will be allowed on the floor of the MassMutual center to take pictures during the ceremony.
The ceremony will take approximately 2 ¼ hours. Information concerning the organization of the ceremony will be distributed to you when you pick up your cap and gown.
Parking is available at the Tower Square & Columbus Center parking garages and other downtown area garages. There is a fee charged for these parking areas. It is anticipated that the MassMutual Center Garage will not be available in June 2022, as it is scheduled to be demolished and replaced.
Conclusion of Ceremony
Once the ceremony has ended and graduates have marched out of the arena, you will be free to leave the MassMutual Center. Please arrange to meet your family/friends in a specific location outside the building after the ceremony has concluded.
