Communications & Marketing

The Communications & Marketing team is your source for getting the word out about STCC’s many successes. We’re responsible for news coverage, the STCC web site, marketing programs, printed material, brand guidelines, and more!


We produce the spring, summer, and fall catalogs, the annual President’s Report, a variety of Admissions publications, and more. Please visit the Publications page to access.

We also oversee STCC social media on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Let Us Help You!

Whether you have a story to get into the paper, or need a brochure for a new program, please let us know at least 6 weeks in advance so we can adequately staff for your needs.

Please note that some requests may require funding.

We love to share the awesome things happening on campus! Please let us know as far in advance as possible, so we can promote on and our social media accounts.

If you would like someone to take photos at your event, please let us know with at least 2 weeks notice.

Making a Request

Check the grid below for instructions on how to make a request. If you’re unclear on how to proceed, feel free to email Keith Paul, Director of Communications and Marketing for assistance.

New initiatives, printing, advertising, marketing programs, PR, etc.

If your department reports into an academic dean, all requests must first be approved by department chairs and deans before being presented to Communications & Marketing.

If your department reports into Student Affairs, all requests must first be approved by program heads.

All others should first check with their division vice president.

Event calendar, social media, photography, etc. If you’re looking for basic support for the campus calendar, or inclusion on STCC social media accounts, please email all relevant info to

Hometown News 

Have an accomplishment or award to share with your local paper? Complete the Hometown News Form and we’ll help you write your story and get it submitted for publication.

Marketing Toolkit

Beginning in FY 2020, Communications and Marketing will roll-out a revised brand identity guide. In the meantime, here are some resources to help you out.

STCC seal

The STCC seal is reserved only for official uses and formal occasions. If your department still has an inventory of stationery or other materials that feature the seal, please use and replace them ASAP.

STCC logo

The horizontally-formatted logo with “Springfield Technical Community College” spelled-out should be used in all instances a logo is used. Do not make any changes.            

Rowdy the Ram logo

The Rowdy the Ram logo should only be used for Athletics and Student Activities events.

“Step and Repeat” logo wall

We have a large backdrop featuring the STCC logo available for use at special events. Please contact John Reynolds to reserve (when available).
