Register for Classes
Degree or Certificate Registration
If you want to apply for admission into a Certificate or Associate degree program, you will need to begin the STCC Admissions application process by applying to the College.
If you want to register for classes without applying for admission into a Certificate or Associate degree program, want to improve your skills with a course, or if you are enrolled as a degree-seeking student at another institution and want to take a course at STCC to transfer back to your institution, you can enroll as an undeclared, nonmatriculated student.
If you already have a WebAdvisor account with STCC, you can enroll as an undeclared, nonmatriculated student, online using WebAdvisor.
If you do not have a WebAdvisor account and want to enroll as an undeclared, nonmatriculated student, please complete the Setup a WebAdvisor Account form.
For help or questions please call the Registrar’s Office, located on the 1st Floor of the Ira H. Rubenzahl Student Learning Commons (B19), at 413-755-4321.
If you enroll as an undeclared, nonmatriculated student at STCC, please be aware that:
- You will not be eligible for Financial Aid, Veterans benefits, or certain waivers including the Senior Citizen Waiver.
- You will not be able to register for courses that are restricted to certain majors.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you have met the prerequisites for your courses.
Students have the option to audit courses (participate in a course without receiving a letter grade or academic credit) under certain conditions. For more details please see the College's audit policy.
