Student Vaccination Requirement
COVID-19 Vaccine Policy for Students
On June 2, 2023, the COVID-19 vaccine requirement will be lifted. Students will no longer need to provide proof of vaccination as a condition of entry, participation, or enrollment. Certain groups of students may be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of their clinical or external placements. With the exception of students with clinical placements, the COVID-19 vaccination requirement will be lifted for students applying to summer and fall semesters.
Students enrolling in on-campus face-to-face and hybrid classes are required to submit documentation of COVID-19 vaccination. This vaccine requirement is aimed at ensuring the safest learning and working environment possible for all members of the STCC community.
You can find a COVID-19 vaccination clinic near you with the Mass.gov Vaccine Finder.

How to Submit Documentation
Please carefully review the important information below to ensure that you are able to access campus for class, library use, resources, and/or to transact business.
All students taking courses with an in-person component and/or students who intend to be on campus for any reason should take the following steps to upload documentation of vaccination. Please note that if you have already submitted documentation of your vaccination, you do not need to do so again.
- Take a photo or scan a copy of your vaccination card. The image must be clear and contain sufficient demographic information for exact identification. If not, the document will not be accepted.
- Open the STCC Student COVID-19 Upload form. A login window appears.
- Log in with your STCC Account username and password. A window appears with your name and email address automatically populated.
- Click the Select Document Type drop-down box.
- Select COVID19 Vaccine.
- In the file upload section, click the Choose File button and attach a copy of the front of your card in FileUpload1, and a copy of the back of your card in FileUpload2.
- Enter comments (optional).
- Click the Next button.
- Type your first and last name to certify that you read and understand the Disclosure/Consent and agree to electronically sign the form.
- Click the Sign Electronically button to submit the form.
You will receive an email confirmation that your documentation has been received. Please note that this is not approval for your participation in courses with an in-person component and/or approval to be on campus. Your file will be reviewed and your document will either be accepted or rejected. Decisions will be sent to your STCC email. If your document is rejected, more information will be shared about next steps. If you have questions or require additional information regarding your upload, please contact the Health & Wellness Center at healthservices@stcc.edu.
Reasonable Accommodations

If you have already received an approved request you need to follow the process below for each subsequent term.
STEP 1:

- Log in with your STCC account username and password. A window appears with your name, date of birth, student ID, and email address automatically populated.

- Please note, that if you start the form and need to complete it later, please click the "Save Progress" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Your file will be reviewed and your document will either be accepted or rejected within 72 hours of submission. Please note that this is not an approved request for accommodations. If your document is rejected, more information will be shared about next steps. Once the College receives a completed request and is able to determine eligibility, the individualized interactive process is estimated to take a minimum of ten (10) business days. Correspondence will be sent to your STCC email. If you have questions or require additional information regarding your upload, please contact the Health & Wellness Center at healthservices@stcc.edu.
STEP 2:
The College will contact you to schedule a date and time for step 2. It is an interactive process to determine if you’re eligible for a reasonable accommodation. The individualized interactive process is estimated to take a minimum of ten (10) business days following the receipt of satisfactory documentation supporting your eligibility for reasonable accommodation. In order to allow adequate time for the individualized interactive process, you should submit your reasonable accommodation request and provide necessary documentation no later than the compliance date noted above.
