Course Description

In this hands-on, beginner-friendly course, you'll learn how to build a professional website for your small business—no coding or web-development experience required. We'll guide you step-by-step through easy-to-use tools like GoDaddy, Google Sites, Microsoft, and AWS, so you can create a website that looks great and works for your business.

In the Website Essentials for Small Business Owners course, you'll discover how to:

  • Choose and register a domain name (your website’s address)
  • Pick the best platform for your needs
  • Design a site that’s both stylish and functional
  • Add key features like contact forms, maps, and more
  • Launch your site so it’s ready for the world to see

Along the way, we’ll cover simple tips on branding, layout, and design to help you create a site that reflects your business. By the end of the course, you’ll have a live website up and running to support your business goals!

Withdraw prior to the start of class* - 100% Refund
No Refunds will be given once class begins

In the absence of a written third party contractual agreement stating otherwise, all refunds will be issued to the student. Credit card payments will be refunded directly to the credit card if processed within thirty days of the payment.

The STCC Workforce Training office reserves the right to cancel any course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements.
