Program Description

The Workforce Readiness Academy is a free 20-hour-per-week program designed to prepare students for success in both college and career pathways. This hands-on program focuses on building essential digital literacy skills, exploring career and education options, and developing critical college and career readiness competencies. Students will work toward industry-recognized certifications, including ServeSafe and OSHA 10, while also engaging with local employers through networking and career connection opportunities. Each student will be paired with a dedicated College and Career Advisor to receive personalized support and guidance throughout the program. The curriculum is tailored to meet individual student needs, ensuring a supportive and flexible learning experience for all participants.

Dates: January 26 - April 9, 2026

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Sections:

  • Day: 9:30 - 1:30 PM 
  • Evening: 5:00 - 9:00 PM
    • Note: All students will be expected to complete 1 hour of asynchronous assignments daily

Course Cancellation Policy

The STCC Workforce Training office reserves the right to cancel any course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements.

  2. Click the Enroll Now button below.

  4. Click "Add Section to Cart". A success message appears.
  5. Click the "Next" button in the top right corner.
  6. Enter your personal information.
  7. Please note, the course is free, but you will need to select Visa Payment during the check-out process. You will not need to enter card information.
