Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity- High-profile data breaches and information security compromises have continued to fill the headlines in the past years. Highly visible and constant threats have created job opportunities and made this career highly rewarding. Careers in Computer and Cybersecurity offer high salaries and a challenging, fast-paced, and ever-changing work environment. This program will prepare you for IT certification exams, entry-level IT security jobs, and transfer to a four-year college to pursue further education. This program is done 100% online.

Computer Science Transfer

Computer Science Transfer- The Computer Science transfer degree provides students with rigorous preparation in the basics of software development. Students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of programming while also developing the strong mathematical skills required for further study in the field. Students completing the degree will be well prepared to transfer to a four-year program in computer science at a Massachusetts state college or university.

Computer Science Engineering Technology

The Computer Science Engineering Technology program at STCC prepares students to tackle the challenges of information technology, cloud computing, and virtualization with a focus on security, system administration, and networking. We are a Cisco Networking Academy, a member of the Dell/EMC Academic Alliance, and a member of the VMware Academic Program.

Programmer

Programmer- Programmers write code that instructs a computer to perform data-based tasks to support an organization. Programmers work at software companies, insurance, and financial industries, in health care, or in manufacturing. Programmers with key skills are in big demand for jobs with lucrative pay. Key classes covered in this program include IT concepts, Microsoft Visual Studio C# programming, Java, Python, website development, Oracle Databases, and mobile phone technologies. This program will prepare you for an entry-level programming job and transfer to a four-year college or university. This program is done 100% online.
