Class Project Presentations: Sustainable Development
Class Project Presentations: Sustainable Development in Architectural & Building Technology Join us to support our students as they present their projects from the classes in the Architectural & Building Technology program. A major focus at the presentation will be on tiny house (small houses) sustainable development in an urban setting. This class was focused on redeveloping land in the south end of Springfield to create an engaged community that provided social equity, access to fresh foods, access to skills training/secondary education, affordable housing, and so much more. They developed house models and posters that will be on display. Other artistic presentations will include the "chair" project. Using reclaimed items to create chairs you can sit in! Computer generated drawings will be on display and students will be on hand to discuss their work and our program.
