Information Technology/Tech Support

Your STCC Account gives you access to log onto the STCCNet portal, Gmail, Blackboard, ARIES, Reset Password, and STCC computers and printers. The same username and password are used to log in to all STCC Account systems. For help accessing your STCC Account please see the Getting Started with STCC Account page.

The Information Technology Department (IT) provides a wide range of technology services and support for students, faculty, and staff. IT delivers many services to the college in the following areas:

  • User Support
  • Faculty and staff desktops and laptops
  • Computer labs and classroom technology
  • Network and servers
  • Administrative systems and software applications
  • Blackboard
  • STCC website
  • Telephone system

Help Desk Support

The Help Desk provides technical support for STCC devices.  Students and Faculty should consult the Tech Tutorials page for more information for class assistance.  The Help Desk must validate users to provide password information.  Please contact us by ChatNow (bottom right corner of this screen, select Technical Support),  (413) 755-4016, or come in person to building 27, room 143.  We cannot change passwords with an email request.

Excluding school vacations and holidays, the Help Desk is open on the following days and times. 

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Employees

Employees with technical computer issues and classroom issues, should create a ticket by emailing helpdesk@stcc.edu 
An IT ticket will automatically be created and assigned. You will receive email notifications with your ticket number and any status updates.
