Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
The professor has the discretion to identify an appropriate testing space, near the classroom, that allows for the indicated accommodation(s).
If it is not possible for the professor to arrange a location near the classroom:
The student may take the exam in the Testing and Assessment Center located in the Ira H. Rubenzahl Student Learning Commons (B19), Room 238.

- Contact the Testing Center at least two days before the scheduled test date to arrange an exam time.

- Phone: 413-755-4709
- The exam may be taken on the same day and time as the class, or at an instructor-approved alternate time during the Testing and Assessment Center’s open hours.
- Once the exam time is scheduled, the student must notify the instructor so that a copy of the test can be emailed to the Testing Center: disabilitytesting@stcc.edu.
Testing at the Office of Disability Services with Assistive Technology
If the student’s accommodation requires Assistive Technology, the exam may need to be taken in ODS, with approval from the student’s ODS Counselor.

- Email: disability_services@stcc.edu
- Phone: 413-755-4785
- Once the exam time is scheduled, the student must notify the instructor so that a copy of the test can be emailed to ODS: disabilitytesting@stcc.edu.
Student Responsibilities
