The STCC College Theatre Workshop provides an opportunity for students to experience the fun of participating in a full scale theatrical event. In addition to our student actors and actresses we welcome students from all academic disciplines. Our students build sets and market each of our innovative productions. Recent plays have included The Laramie Project, Distracted, The Bacchae, and Clybourne Park.

The College Theatre Workshop will perform two plays during the fall season. Please join us!

  • "Removing the Glove" by Clarence Good, a satire about coming out as a left-hander, was the winner of the national High School Playwriting competition in 1993.
  • "Some Prepared Remarks" by Jason Gray Platt, a one-man show that covers a man's life in seven-short speeches, premiered at the Actors Theater in Louisville, Ky., in 2014.
