Kamari Collins, vice president of student affairs at STCC, invited the Fulbright Scholars, who were studying at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley between Jan. 20 and March 8.

Springfield Technical Community College on April 13 will offer a workforce development training course to teach the science and technology behind making beer. The 108-hour Professional Brewing Certificate Program blends online course work with hands-on lab work at local breweries. The course runs for 11 weeks starting April 13. Spaces are still available. A Professional Brewing Certificate is the first step in pursuing a career in brewing.
Springfield Technical Community College will offer two Certified Nurse Aide classes beginning March 18: CNA 1 and CNA 2. CNA 1 – the Nurse Aide and CPR Certificate Program – is designed for students seeking entry level job skills to enter the health care field.
