Early Childhood Education Transfer

This course of study leads to an Associate in Science degree in Early Childhood Education, and transfers to a baccalaureate degree program leading to teacher licensure for PreK to Grade 2 in a public school. This program meets the requirements for the Massachusetts Transfer Pathway in Early Childhood Education and will enable students to participate in the Commonwealth Commitment Program. All accepted students must undergo a Criminal Offender Record Information check. The results could impact the student's ability to continue in the ECE program.
Minimum Grade Requirement: Students must achieve a "C" as the minimum passing grade in all 'ECE' courses.
Upon the successful completion of the requirements of this program, the degree of Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education will be awarded.
