Program Description
The Pathway to Cybersecurity program is designed to support non-traditional students that are new to Information Technology (IT) and computer technology and prepare them to build skills for entry level IT careers on the Pathway to Cybersecurity.
Why learn Cybersecurity at STCC? Our training starts with a beginner friendly approach to provide the prerequisite skills to be successful in the program and in the workforce. Having knowledge to work with computers and access online information is enough to get started. If you see yourself pursuing a career in Cybersecurity but you don't yet have basic computer skills or experience, we encourage you to our Basic Computer and Digital Literacy Skills Program to get started on this pathway.
The Pathway to Cybersecurity program is a streamlined learning experience that is 100% focused on relevant and up-to-date industry skills. The training is in person and uses interactive computer training labs focused on obtaining CompTIA certifications.
We are a CompTIA Academic Partner, and you will obtain four progressive levels of CompTIA certifications as you complete the Pathway to Cybersecurity program.
